Welcome to Transurf! These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Transurf ("we", "us"). By accessing or using our browser extension, web application, or any related services (collectively, "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

Transurf is a powerful browser extension and web application designed to provide a seamless translation experience. It integrates with multiple third-party translation services (such as Google, DeepL, OpenAI, Azure, Gemini, etc.) and provides features such as user accounts, subscription management, and vocabulary synchronization.

Please note that Transurf serves as a technology platform that provides you with an interface to access these third-party translation services. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or quality of third-party translation services.

You need to create an account to use our full functionality. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use.

We offer paid subscription plans through Stripe. Subscription fees will automatically renew based on your chosen plan. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings page. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and we do not provide refunds for partially used services.

All payment information is processed directly by our third-party payment processor Stripe. We do not store your complete credit card information.

You own any content you create or store through the Service, such as your personal vocabulary lists ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Services, such as syncing vocabulary across your devices.

Text you use for translation will be sent to the third-party translation service you choose. We recommend that you review the privacy policies of these third-party services to understand how they handle your data.

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe on others' intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Abuse the service, such as sending large volumes of requests through automated means, beyond reasonable use.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the integrity or security of our systems.

Except for your User Content, the Service and all its materials, including software, design, text, and graphics ("Transurf Content"), are exclusively owned by us. You may not use, copy, or distribute any Transurf Content without our prior written consent.

Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Transurf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in our Services. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
