Installation Methods

Method 1: Chrome Web Store Installation Recommended

1. Visit Chrome Web Store
2. Click the "Add to Chrome" button
3. In the popup window, click "Add Extension"
4. Once installed, the Transurf icon will appear in the browser toolbar

Method 2: Developer Mode Installation

If you want to experience the latest development version or participate in testing:

1. Download the Extension Package

   • Visit our Version History
   • Download the latest .zip file

2. Extract the Files

   • Extract the downloaded .zip file to a local folder
   • Remember the location of the extracted folder

3. Enable Developer Mode

   • Open the Chrome browser
   • Visit chrome://extensions/
   • Enable "Developer Mode" in the top-right corner of the page

4. Load the Extension

   • Click "Load unpacked extension"
   • Select the folder you just extracted
   • The extension will automatically load and appear in the extension list
